Transfer Information

Central Virginia Community College's transfer programs allow students to complete their first two years at CVCC, earn an associate's degree, and transfer to a four year school to complete a bachelor's degree. The Associate of Arts & Sciences and Associate of Science degrees are designed for transfer (there are some exceptions with the Associate of Applied Science degrees; please see a CVCC counselor for more information):

    • Business Administration

    • General Studies
    • Liberal Arts
    • Science
      -   Life Sciences Specialization
      -   Physical Sciences Specialization
  • Associate of Science (AS)
    • Engineering

Below you will find helpful information regarding transfer to various schools in Virginia. Each link will include more information about the admissions and transfer process, transfer guides (course by course equivalency guides), guaranteed admissions and articulation agreements, and more. Be sure to start planning early and work together with a CVCC counselor as well as an admissions counselor at your school of choice to ensure a smooth transfer experience.

Spring 2017 Transfer Fair

CVCC will be hosting it's first ever Spring Transfer Fair! Please join us on Wednesday, February 22 from 11 AM - 1 PM in the Student Center and speak to a representative from one of the participating colleges and universities to have all of your admissions and transfer questions answered!
Longwood University Campus Visit
