Concurrent Enrollment
CVCC welcomes as guest students those F-1 students who meet the following guidelines:
- Be in good financial and academic standing with your sponsoring
college/university
- Be in possession of current health insurance.
- Demonstrate English proficiency through a letter of recommendation
from one of your professors or a grade of “C” or better in ENG 101.
- Submit a letter of permission to take specific courses at CVCC. You
will only be permitted to enroll in courses your sponsoring
college/university has indicated in the letter.
Students in F-1 Status at local colleges or universities may apply to enroll in
classes at CVCC by filling out the Concurrent Enrollment form
and submitting it to the Admissions and Records Office at CVCC.
Please note that your form must be signed by your International Student/Academic
Advisor at your sponsoring college/university and that all documents requested
must accompany this form before you will be permitted to enroll in classes at
CVCC. This form must be sent to us by your advisor. Hand carried copies from
students will not be accepted.
Please be aware that as an international student you are required to observe all
rules and regulations governing your presence in the United States and that it is
your responsibility to be aware of those regulations.
