Parking and Traffic Regulations
Central Virginia Community College will not be responsible for loss or damage to motor vehicles or their contents while they are on College property.
Parking regulations are strictly enforced from 7 a.m. on Monday until 5 p.m. on Friday of each week when classes are in session.
Vehicles must be parked within a designated parking space. Any vehicle occupying more than one space, parked in a non-designated space, in a Safety Zone or in a manner that may otherwise impedes the ingress or egress of emergency vehicles will be issued a parking citation.
Visitor parking is restricted to a 30 minute limit. If more time is required, check with campus police to obtain a temporary parking permit.
If a vehicle must be left on campus over-night for any reason, notify the Campus Police.
Students with a temporary medical condition may obtain a Medical Parking Permit from the Campus Police office. The student must present documentation from the attending physician, regarding nature, duration and extent of the disability. Medical Parking Permits are issued on an as needed basis at a maximum of one semester.
In order to park in Handicapped Parking, the individual must obtain either a handicapped license plate or placard from the Division of Motor Vehicles.
Faculty/Staff Parking decals are not issued to students, work-study students or part-time student workers.
