CVCC Awarded Military Friendly School Title from G.I. Jobs

 

G.I. Jobs, the premier magazine for military personnel transitioning into civilian life, has awarded Central Virginia Community College (CVCC) the designation of a Military Friendly School¨. The 2012 Military Friendly Schools list honors the top 20 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools that are doing the most to embrace AmericaÕs military service members and veterans as students.

 

After a survey of over 8,000 schools, CVCC has been named as a Military Friendly School¨ for the third year in a row.   The competition for the 2012 Military Friendly Schools¨ list was fierce and as a result raised the already stringent criteria to a higher benchmark.  CVCC is among the elite.
