Judy Graves named Dean of Enrollment Management at CVCC
Lynchburg, VA /Media Release/ -- Central Virginia Community College has named Judy Graves Dean of Enrollment Management. Graves has served as the interim dean for the past year and has been an academic counselor at CVCC for twenty-seven years. She earned both B.A. and M.Ed. degrees from Lynchburg College, after having originally graduated from CVCC. Her own years at the school give her a personal insight into the community college experience and an appreciation for the current students.
In her role as Dean of Enrollment Management, she will manage counseling services, financial aid, admissions and records, student activities, and the career coach program. In addition, she will coordinate with the other deans and with Workforce Development.
Graves says that she enjoys the diverse student population and the excellent staff at CVCC. When people are this hard-working and supportive, the job is easier, Graves says.
What a wonderful group! Its because of them I want to do this job.
