Copyright Policy
The copyright policy and guidelines of the College are being rewritten
at the present time. HOWEVER, if you have any doubts about violations
of the copyright law, please contact the Coordinator of Library Services
at x7551 or at feinm@cvcc.vccs.edu.
Faculty and College personnel are cautioned that should the College be
sued for copyright violations, the actual person infringing the copyright
law will be held liable. Furthermore, the College will not indemnify
nor hold harmless the person who violated copyright provisions.
ALL teaching faculty (full and part-time) are required to take an
online tutorial that explains provisions of the TEACH Act. The tutorial
also covers, in general, fair use and other copyright issues. Instructors
are to contact their respective dean for access to this required tutorial.
