How do I get my Student ID/Library Card?
To obtain your Student ID/Library Card:
Please come to the Library or one of the CVCC Off-Campus centers after the payment due date which is printed in the CVCC class schedule.
Please have with you:
- a) A form of government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, passport, etc.) or a birth certificate or Social Security card if you have no photo ID
AND
- b) A copy of your class schedule (you may print this schedule in the Library or the Off-Campus Center computer lab)
After the information has been verified, your photo will be taken. Those who come to the Library will be able to receive their card after it is made at the circulation desk. Those who have their photo taken at an Off-Campus Center will have to wait several days before the card is made and shipped to the Center. The card is valid for two (2) years from the date of issue if you are currently enrolled. If you need to have the card replaced for any reason within these two years, there is a $3.00 replacement fee.
NOTE: If you are making payment for classes after the payment due date, please allow at least twenty-four hours after making payment to obtain the card.
