Quality Enhancement Plan

The Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) is the component of the reaffirmation of accreditation process that reflects and affirms the commitment of CVCC to the enhancement of the quality of our education and that student learning is at the heart of the mission of CVCC. By definition, the QEP describes a carefully designed course of action that addresses a well-defined and focused topic or issue related to enhancing student learning. The QEP should be embedded within the institution’s ongoing integrated institution-wide planning and evaluation process. Developing a QEP as a part of the reaffirmation process is an opportunity for the institution to enhance overall institutional quality and effectiveness by focusing on an issue or issues the institution considers important to improving student learning.

In 2011-12 the QEP Topic Selection Committee engaged in college-wide planning and research and determined that the general focus for the QEP for our Reaffirmation of SACSCOC Accreditation in 2015 will be services provided through our Student Success Center.

The QEP Topic Selection Committee Members were:
Cynthia Lofaso, Co-Chair   Professor of Psychology
Rebecca Honeycutt, Co-Chair   Professor of Mathematics
Kimberly French   Academic Counselor
Joey Fronheiser   Dean of Institutional Effectiveness and Planning
Ernie Wade   Associate Professor of Marketing
