MTH 151 Mathematics for the Liberal Arts I (3 cr.) Presents topics in sets, logic, numeration systems, geometric systems, and elementary computer concepts. Prerequisites: a placement recommendation for MTH 151 and Algebra I and Algebra II and Geometry or equivalent. Lecture 3 hours per week.

This course is delivered through real-time instruction (days/times established) using Blackboard Collaborate (desktop web-conferencing software). Students who enroll in this course must attend a mandatory orientation offered by the Distance Education Department in Rm 3209 at the Lynchburg campus on Wed., Jan 8, at 10 a.m. or 6 p.m. Contact Connie Deacon at (434) 832-7743 with questions.
