PSY 200 Principles of Psychology (3 cr.) Surveys the basic concepts of psychology. Covers the scientific study of behavior, behavioral research methods and analysis, and theoretical interpretations. Includes topics such as physiological mechanisms, sensation/perception, motivation, learning, personality, psychopathology, therapy, and social psychology. Lecture 3 hours per week.

Hybrid - combines 2/3 real-time instruction (days/times established) using Blackboard Collaborate (desktop web-conferencing software) and 1/3 online instruction (using Blackboard). Students must initially attend on the main campus or at one of the satellite centers for the Blackboard Collaborate session and provide their own headset/mic to participate. Proctored testing required.
