Respiratory Therapy Program
Respiratory Therapy offers individuals an opportunity to practice in the medical field providing
direct patient care. Respiratory Therapy is a specialized field of medicine that offers
employment in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, doctor's offices, management, education, and
home health. It also offers those who want to specialize in neonatal/pediatric medicine,
pulmonary function testing, asthma educators, and sleep studies.
Graduates are required to take an entry-level exam in order to practice their profession. After
passing the entry-level exam, you must attain a license in the state where you would like to
work. After attaining a job, most employers require you to take and pass an advance-level exam.
Our program prepares you to take the entry-level and advance-level exams.
Average starting pay for new graduates is approximately $48,000 per year.
