National Radiologic Technology Week Celebration
Each year at CVCC the Radiologic Technology program has a breakfast and morning
program to honor National Radiologic Technology Week. During this week all
students get together to celebrate the discovery of the x-ray by Wilhelm Conrad
Roentgen on November 8, 1895.
Classes of 2012 and 2013 along with the program instructors
Mary Beth Mayes, Radiologic Technology Class of 1991,
was the featured speaker during Radiologic Technology Week

Calvin Williams Class of 1995, MRI Supervisor at Halifax Regional Hospital is the
2010 Planetree Caregiver Award recipient. The Caregiver Award recognizes those
that positively influence the way healthcare is delivered.
